Semifinal line up prediction coming true

May 16th, 2009 by googlyprabhakar

Yet another of my predictions seems to be coming true. I had predicted last week or so about the semifinal line up being that of DD, CSK, RCB and RR. Even though I am the biggest fan of Adam Gilchrist in the world, I think that DC depends too much on him, something that would bring their downfall. Symonds is there but you cannot trust him always. Rohit Sharma is going the Yuvraj Singh way - no focus on a consistent basis. It would be great if he can prove me wrong. Kings XI Punjab again because of the same problem of Yuvi will fizzle away. Mumbai Indians , as predicted by me earlier, were blown out easily. Their weakness lay in not having any ‘impact player’. Sanath Jayasuriya could have been one, but he is a spent force.

Well I think that you are right except the fact that DC will go instead of BRC.

well, to be outrightly honest, it doesn’t take much thinking to have predicted the presence of teams from Chennai or the Daredevils> that much was given away from the way teams played in IPL1> again RR were the winners so to think that they would not even make the semis this year was never really bound to happen> i wonder if someone can choose one clear fave as to who will win the IPL2, just one and stick to if, without any ‘given’, ‘if’ or ‘unless’ being used
