101 International Centuries (as opposed to Dalmatians!!)
September 15th, 2009 by prashantThis man can do it…In-fact he will most likely do it. Sachin has 87 International hundreds to his name right now. With the current form he is in and the opportunities that he has over next couple of years, it is reasonable to assume that he will cross that absolutely amazing milestone.
He has the most ……
Centuries In Tests (with Ponting breathing down his neck).
Centuries In ODIs (by a long Margin)..
Most Runs In ODIs (by a long margin)
Most Runs In Tests
Man-Of-The-Match awards
Man-Of-The-Series awards
All he needs to complete his achievements is a World Cup win…Can this team deliver that to him in 2011?? In either case, if that does not happen Sachin would not be bitter because he knows that what he has done for the game and for India is simply unbeatable..
Go Sachin!!

A century of centuries would indeed be amazing… and it would be a feat that may never be beaten. Especially, with the advent of T20 either the ODIs or Tests will fade away and it will be more and more difficult for batsmen to make centuries since T20 does not offer that many chances to do so. So This record may well stay for many many years.
But I am sure Sachin will give up all his records for one World Cup win. Will his fans give that up? Im not so sure
A salute to the greatest player India has ever produced (with due respect to Kapil and Gavaskar).

The title ‘Greatest Cricketer of India’ definitely belongs to Kapil Dev. No one deserves it better than him. Even Sachin, Gavaskar , why even India’s greatest matchwinners ( with due respect to Sachin and Sunny) , Rahul Dravid, Anil Kumble , VVS Laxman and Sehwag would agree. Why even 100 top ex-cricketers who voted for the top Indian Wisden cricketer of the century too agreed. Taking 434 wickets, without anyone to create pressure from the other end in the dustbowls of India is not a joke. Over and above that to score 5000 odd runs ( remember that is what Ganguly has scored in his whole career purely as a batsman ) plus being the best all round fielder India ever had is not a joke. He could single handedly turn matches within a few hours/sessions. No other Indian cricketer has done that on a regular basis. Period.
