TEAM INDIA FOUGHT BACK…

April 13th, 2008 by pradnyarai

Finally the most crucial test match ended in a victory for team India. Though the victory of team India was not expected (by me at least) after the Ahmedabad test. But I was proved wrong; they bounced back and were well led by MS Dhoni. Hats off to him, with so little experience of test cricket still he lead the team upfront, in spite of losing key players due to injury. The pitch was well suited to Indian bowlers no doubt, and truly the players took full advantage of the situation and the spin attack was well portrayed by Bhajji, even Sehwag was impressive. Once again the Prince of Calcutta showed his caliber when it was needed the most; the middle order was almost collapsing but was well held by Ganguly. Overall I would say a well fought innings, losing a test series at home would have been a shame. The team effort is really commendable.
