Harbhajan;The Gentleman Of Cricket.

April 26th, 2008 by varinmuldiyar

Harbhajan should be banned for three matches in the current tournament. This incident is deplorable to say the least. One can’t imagine people stooping to this level to give vent to their frustration. And Harbhajan has crossed the line.

Mind you! This is not the first time Harbhajan has been accused of indecent behaviour. He has had a history of turblent behaviour on and off the field. And this act of Harbhajan makes me wonder whether he was innocent in the incident involving Andrew Symonds.

Harbhajan should be severely penalized for this shameful act, otherwise it’ll set a dangerous precedent for others to follow. In IPL stakes are really high, a lot of money has gone into the system. And the money should find its way out as well. But that will only happen if players perform well. So don’t be surprised if things get murkier from here. This is just the beginning.

@varinmuldiyar: Good to hear from you after a little while. I completely agree with you. I think Bhajji has lost it. This whole thing about “being aggressive” has gone to his head. I do remember reading about one of his interviews after the Aussie series where he claimed that series was like “Harbhajan vs Australia”. To me that is coming from someone who has become very self-centered and presumptuous.

At first during the sydney test when Symonds made the complaint i was not convinced totally in fact i though it was simply a misunderstanding but i changed my mind in fact i am tottaly convinced he said something to Symonds which must have been extremely racist, now i see why Hayden called him an obnoxious little weed
