Who will win the IPL series?

April 27th, 2008 by pradnyarai

The IPL matches are going on in full swing, each team trying to prove their excellence in the game. I would say it is rather difficult to choose a team which is the best, but I would place my bet on the Chennai Superstars. They have the best possible players firstly and I think it is impossible to lose with players like Hayden on top of the lineup and skipper Dhoni, Hussey to strengthen the innings. All the players are good hitters of the ball and have an outstanding strike rate, which can take the match away from the opposition at any point of time. This lineup is well supported by the bowlers but I do think that their batsmen outshine the bowlers
.However I must say the Knight riders will give them a tough fight. In my opinion, the Deccan Chargers are a dark horse in this series, with such a strong team I fail to understand why they don’t win matches.
My vote is for the Chennai superstars, what’s your say?

So far Chennai Superstars are doing great but it would be interesting to see how they are going to perform after Hayden & Hussey goes asway.

I guess that is the key here. Team that will sustain least damage after all the Aussies, Kiwis and others go to perform for their respective countries, will prevail. Though might sound crazy, but my vote is for Mumbai Indians.

well my heart wants Mumbai Indians to win but the mind says that it will be Chennai.. for solely one reason… the man called Dhoni. His captaincy might prove the difference between Chennai against Hyderabad.

Chennai Superkings or Rajasthan Royals. There would be a tough fight for the last position though, between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore, with the Mumbai Indians holding the edge!!!!!!

Mumbai Indians pull off an upset win over Delhi Dare Devils today. I think it is anyone’s game at the moment. Royals definitely look like a best team, running over the Chennai top order at the moment.
