I saw the 3rd ODI, and the English team completely outclassed the Indians. The Indians were a bit unlucky though, since they batted slowly initially with 50 overs in mind, but multiple rain interruptions reduced the number of overs available and it was difficult to accelerate in the end with only a few overs remaining. They did get some favour with the Duckworth Lewis, but it was not enough and overall, the English team benefited from the frequent breaks. Two things I noticed in the game:

    1. The Indian team should be prepared with a plan B in case of rain, so that if it does rain, they should be able to still put a good score on the board. In short, they should have a better handle of the DL system and how it affects teams batting first it rains in the first inning itself.

    2. The English players were 10 times fitter than the Indian players. It showed in their fielding and running between the wickets. India ran well, but fielded poorly, and most of the players did to look fit enough. That is something India’s women cricket team has to REALLY work on. Maybe some tips from the men’s team will help.
