Happy 20th Birthday Ishant Sharma!

September 5th, 2008 by ajanta

A five star hotel Le Meredien was the venue where a grand bash was thrown by ‘Studio 309′ to celebrate one of the youngest members of Men in Blue, Ishant Sharma who turned 20 on 2nd September. This is what I heard:

On this occasion Captain of the Indian Cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni aka ‘Maahi’ came specially to wish Ishant on his birthday. Virendra Sehwag, Ashish Nehra, Akash Chopra, Gaurav Chhabra, Shikhar Dhawan, Ishant’s family members & his friends were also present there, while Ruby Singh Sehrawat & Ritu Singh Sehrawat were the perfect hosts of the evening.

To celebrate the birthday a Grand Cake in the shape of a Cricket Field was ordered which was enjoyed by Ishant’s family, friends & his teammates.

Ishant looked quite excited, he said this is for the very first time that I’m celebrating my birthday in such a grand way. It’s one of the very memorable days in my life. He further added that my life has changed very rapidly in last one year or so. Last year proved to be a great year for me and I will try to get better in future to improve my team’s chances in its winning efforts.

All the guests and others wished Ishant on his birthday and enjoyed the tasty snacks and drinks as well. The party was on till late night with Ishant and others enjoying every moment to the fullest.

Looks like it was a fun evening… He sure deserved it!
